Christmas crafts start now—let’s begin with a simple gift-wrapping idea that adds a playful, handmade touch. Tiny bows made from Scotch® Color & Pattern Duct Tape strung into a garland are quick to make and look delightful on presents or mini trees. These little bows take only minutes to create, and they’re easy enough for kids to help with. Once finished, wrap the garland around a package or tuck it into a gift for a pop of color and pattern.

If you’re not decorating for the holidays yet, this garland still works beautifully for birthdays, baby showers, or any occasion where a charming little accent is needed.

Supplies:
- Scotch® Color & Pattern Duct Tape (examples used: Polka Dots, Flakey, Pearl White, Metallic Pink, and Blue Turquoise)
- Scissors or an X-Acto knife
- Twine
Step 1: Cut a 1½-inch strip of duct tape.

Step 2: Fold the strip in half with the sticky sides together. Then accordion-fold the folded strip three to four times to create the bow shape.

Step 3: Wrap a small strip of duct tape around the center of the folded piece to secure it and form a bow.

Step 4: Make as many bows as you want. Arrange them in a row in the color order you like. Use tiny pieces of duct tape to attach each bow to a length of twine, spacing them evenly. Press the small piece of tape along one of the bow’s creases so the bow stays firmly attached.

Step 5: Finish by wrapping the garland around a glittery gift, draping it over a small tree, or using it as a cheerful accent on any present.
