How To Make A Burn Book Costume

Follow these quick steps to assemble the costume:

  1. Print the Burn Book letters and shapes on standard computer paper, then cut each piece out carefully.
  2. Cut strips of temporary hem tape and place them on the back of each letter and any decorative shapes. Position the tape close to the edges so the pieces will lie flat.
  3. Peel the backing from the hem tape and press each letter onto the pink dress where you want it. Apply firm pressure to ensure each piece adheres well.
  4. When you’re finished with the costume, the hem tape removes cleanly—just peel the pieces off the dress.
