It still feels surreal to be writing from the other side of Meet/Make/Do. After nine months of planning, seeing the event come to life was almost unbelievable. The last week was a whirlwind of creativity, conversations, and unexpected challenges that only made the experience more memorable.

Bringing a group of like-minded creators together felt energizing. We spent our days making, sharing tips, and digging into the realities of blogging and creative work. Compared with larger conferences, this event allowed for deeper conversations and real-time collaboration—exactly what many of us who work independently crave.

We did encounter some curveballs — we had to change venues partway through and adjust our schedule because of rare Palm Springs rain — but those detours became part of the story and added to the adventure. The resilience and good spirits of everyone involved turned potential setbacks into shared memories.

One of the highlights was the creative setup: a generous supply buffet that invited experimentation and collaboration. It was a joy to watch people riff off one another’s ideas, try new techniques, and offer practical advice about projects, workflows, and blogging strategies.
