Hello! I work here — and today I’m excited to reveal my finished office. This room had no windows and several slanted walls, which made the layout challenging, but I’m so happy with the result. We partnered with Intel for this makeover because a top priority was that the room also function as a conference space. Intel introduced us to the Intel® NUC, a compact but powerful mini PC that now serves as our meeting hub for storing and sharing content. I’ll explain how we use it below, but first — some eye candy: that rug, the perfect shade of pink, and our wall hanging. We collaborated again with our favorite stylist Cyn Moreno, and she nailed the look.

You might recall the inspiration post where I mentioned a stripe mural. After painting the room pink, we loved the color so much we didn’t want to cover it up. Instead, we created a bold wall hanging that hints at the stripe idea while keeping the wall clean and balanced. I’ll share a tutorial for the hanging soon.
I’m also thrilled with the custom shelving unit. Our friend Wes, who built the closet doors for a previous project, transformed basic store-bought cabinets into a stylish storage solution that fits the room’s aesthetic and improves functionality.

Before the makeover, passing laptops around during meetings was awkward and inefficient. I insisted on a large TV screen so everyone can view presentations and product samples easily. The Intel NUC sits in the office and connects directly to the TV. Team members load presentations, photos, or other files onto the NUC before meetings, so we can pull up content quickly during the discussion. The NUC’s compact size — about 4″ x 4″ — lets it blend into the room without taking up space, while offering the power of a full computer. It’s been a real workflow game changer for us.

For a desk, I chose a dining table to give us the depth needed to lay out in-person product samples and materials. It’s been perfect for collaboration. For lighting, the globe pendant won our community poll — it’s light and airy, and doesn’t compete with the room’s colorful accents.

There it is — the first functional workspace in the office is complete. Intel’s help made the room more functional as a collaborative space, and I couldn’t be happier with the finished look. My favorite elements are the rug and the wall hanging. What are your favorites? I’d love to hear which details stand out to you.
