In classic Studio DIY style, it’s time to turn Easter eggs into playful food-themed decorations again. After pineapple and ice cream cone designs, these burger Easter eggs are a fun, unexpected twist. You don’t even need to dye the eggs if you use brown ones—simple, quick, and charming.

DIY Burger Easter Eggs
Total Time: 30 minutes
Supplies
Hard-boiled brown eggs
Non-toxic red and brown markers
White non-toxic paint marker
Yellow paper
Green streamers or tissue paper
White school glue
Scissors
Directions
1. Around the lower third of each hard-boiled egg, draw a brown stripe to simulate the burger patty. Allow the marker to dry for about one minute.
2. Just above the brown stripe, draw a thinner red stripe to represent ketchup or tomato, and let it dry.
3. While the ink dries, cut three small triangles from yellow paper for cheese slices (three per egg).
4. Glue the yellow triangles around the egg, spacing them evenly.
5. Cut a narrow strip of green streamer or tissue long enough to circle the egg. Apply a line of glue around the egg and press the strip in place, creating small ruffles by folding and gathering the material as you glue to mimic lettuce. Let dry thoroughly.
6. Finish by drawing small white sesame seed shapes on the top half of the egg using the white paint marker. Allow everything to dry before handling.

These burger eggs look great arranged in a small basket for serving. For a playful presentation, pair them with faux fries or other themed props to complete the look.
p.s. You can also try burger-themed balloons or other matching decor for a cohesive display.
