Crochet for the Kitchen – Yours and Theirs!
The Autumn Blooms Kitchen Towel and Dishcloth Set is a lovely pattern set featuring a matching crochet dishcloth and towel, inspired by pots of fall chrysanthemums! These are perfect for adding a touch of seasonal charm to your kitchen – the colors set the season! Easily tweak colors to match your kitchen or gift recipient’s style.
These patterns are beginner to intermediate-friendly. While the floral elements might seem intricate, they are easier than you think, made with simple cluster stitches. Making your own kitchen items is also a more sustainable choice.
The Perfect Project Bernat Handicrafter – or Lily Sugar’n Cream!
Cotton yarn is typically recommended for kitchen patterns due to its durability, absorbency, and heat resistance. Plus, cotton holds its shape and can withstand frequent washing! I originally made these in Bernat Handicrafter, and it’s still a great choice. But if you have a stash of Lily Sugar’n Cream or prefer that color palette, it’s an easy swap – just keep an eye on the yardage!
This set is great for stash-busting or crafting on a time crunch! Customizable and practical, they are something nearly everyone can use. There’s a sense of joy in creating something practical, like a dishcloth, that’s also a little work of art. Plus, they often serve as great conversation starters when friends or family see them! (And in my experience, they often ask for a set of their own!)
