About this Pattern
If you’re brand new to crochet and looking for a quick first project, our beginner crochet wrist warmers is a great place to start. Especially if you’re not a blanket or scarf person. A pair of wrist warmers is a practical way to develop your skills with a project you can have done in an evening.
With this project you’ll get to practice fundamental crochet skills; the chain stitch to start the project and single crochets throughout. Mastering these two stitches is a must for any crocheter and they’re nice and easy to keep you engaged.

6.5 sts and 7 rounds = 4″ worked in single crochet
These wrist warmers are worked in a round tube starting from the bottom edge and working upwards. If the starting chain number does not comfortably fit around your wrist (about 2” below your wrist bone), add or subtract chains until it fits.
Additional notes: Chain 3 at beginning of rounds counts as a double crochet.

Written Instructions
Round 1: Ch 16 (Make sure this fits comfortably around your wrist. Add or remove chains as needed). Join with a slst to 1st ch to form a ring. Ch 1 and sc in same ch. 1 sc in each rem ch. Do not join. Cont working in a spiral.
Round 2: 1 sc in every st.
Repeat: Rep last round until work measures 4” from starting edge.
Next Round: Ch 3, sk 3 sts, sc in the next st. 1 sc in each rem st to ch 3-sp.
Next Round: 3 sc in ch 3-sp. 1 sc in each rem st.
Next 2 Rounds: 1 sc in every st. Slst in last 2 sts. Fasten off.
Repeat previous steps for second wrist warmer.
