Bernat Macramé Wall Hanging: Free Pattern and Tutorial

Bernat Macrame Wall Hanging Free Pattern and Tutorial - Moogly

Learning to macrame is like any other craft – we build up our skills one project at a time. And our next step is making the Bernat Macrame Wall Hanging! This Easy level pattern creates a gorgeous piece of art to hang on your walls. Using Bernat Macrame Yarn, you can customize your creation with color and your own creativity! In this live demonstration, I’ll show you how to work this free Yarnspirations craft pattern!

Disclaimer: Live videos are unscripted, unedited, occasionally weird, and all opinions are my own.

First, we made the Bernat Macrame Keychains – and I’m so glad you all enjoyed it as much as I did! The Bernat Macramé Wall Hanging is the perfect next-step project for learning this fun craft! With 2 (or more if you want more color!) skeins of Bernat Macrame yarn, we’ll be learning several basic knots: lark’s head knot, square knot, vertical half-hitch left-right, and the overhand knot.

Our other supply for today is an approximately 30″ [76 cm] dowel or found branch – time to search the yard real quick! And as always, scissors and a measuring tape or stick will be important. Let’s make one together!
