Finished Blanket Sizes / Measurements
This blanket can be made in two sizes:
- Small: 34” wide X 57” long after blocking.
- Large: 41.5” wide X 72” long after blocking.
Abbreviations Used in Pattern
K: Knit.
P: Purl.
St: Stitch.
C6F: Slip next 3 stitches to cable needle and place at front of work, k3, then k3 from cable needle.
2/1RPC: Slip next stitch to cable needle and place at back of work, k2, then p1 from cable needle.
2/1LPC: Slip next 2 stitches to cable needle and place at front of work, p1, then k2 from cable needle.
Pattern Notes
- The blanket is knit flat in rows, using circular knitting needles to hold the large number of stitches.
- Wet/Steam blocking is highly recommended to finishing this blanket in order for it to lay flat and reach the finished dimensions.

Cast on 156(196) stitches and begin with Bottom Edging.

Work 12(18) rows in 2X2 ribbing (*K2, p2; repeat from * to end of row), then complete the following 2 rows:
