CROCHET OIL DIFFUSER CROCHET PATTERN
Howdy campers!!! Welcome to Crochet Summer Camp, Day Three!
I hope you can find a spare 10 minutes, because that’s all you need to make this sweet little thing. It holds a teeny, tiny 1.5″ terra cotta pot (they are the cutest ever!). Fill it with lava rock beads and use your favorite oils to freshen up a small space. It’s great for spaces like a camper, a car, or small bathroom. It uses wooden beads or lava bead to diffuse the oil. It works really great in the car because the sun will warm the oil and help disperse the scent.
ABOUT THIS PATTERN:
To make this project, you need just a bit of cotton yarn, a tiny little pot, and some wood or lava rock beads to absorb the oil. This pattern is quite simple and is suitable for an advanced-beginner crocheter.
The download pattern also includes 2 additional designs: a star stitch key fob and a car coaster.
I did a bit of testing and found that essential oils work pretty okay. My favorite brands are Simply Earth and Rocky Mountain Oils.
Another idea is to use Scentfill home scents oil. This is a brand that I have been using for years, and they make it without gunky chemicals. It is made to be used with an outlet warmer, but it works great for this diffuser as well.
To get the oil onto my rocks, I simply took off the cap and dabbed the felted tip onto the beads. It was no mess, and it smelled heavenly!
