How to knit the vertical eyelet stitch – The Blog – US/UK

We like bringing to the blog easy stitches.
Today’s stitch is perfect for those nights when the temperature begins to
decrease just a little bit, or if you live in the mountains where the night is
fresh. The perfect lace for your summer garments.

For this step-by-step we used one of our Easy Breezy skeins and beechwood knitting needles sizes Us 8 (5mm).

As usual, before beginning we like to give you a
list of the techniques we will use in case you want to check them out or if you
have any doubts:

Let’s begin!

Cast on a number of stitches multiple of 6, and then, add 3 more stitches.

Row 1

Start the row by knitting 2. Next, *SKPO, yarn
over, knit 1, yarn over, knit 2 together, knit 1*. Repeat from * to * until
there is 1 stitch left in the needle, knit it.

Row 2

Purl all stitches

Continue working rows 1 and 2 until your work
reaches the desired length.

We love this summery stitch. We want to see
where you use it. Don’t forget to share it with the knitter community with the
hashtag #weareknitters.

See you next time!
