I’m excited to share highlights from the Etsy Pop-Up I curated for West Elm Los Angeles a couple of weeks ago. It was an absolute blast—so much energy, great people, and plenty of confetti. The store stayed lively until closing and, true to Studio DIY form, we left the space colorful and celebratory. The event gave me the chance to meet many talented Etsy makers I’ve admired for years, and they were even more wonderful in person. Here’s a look at how the day unfolded.

Rosanna of Iron Curtain Press genuinely radiates enthusiasm for letterpress. Her passion and humor made her booth one of the most memorable stops of the day.

Bows and floral designs were a recurring favorite throughout the market—bright, playful, and beautifully made.

Special thanks to Smiles Davis for DJ-ing—everyone loved the playlist and the vibe was nonstop. The Bosco hosted a fun GIF photo booth where guests tossed confetti, donned flamingos, and captured joyful moments all day. Fonuts provided custom sprinkle-covered donuts that were a major hit, and Megan Welker helped document the day with beautiful photos.
I’m incredibly grateful to the West Elm LA team and West Elm corporate for their support and collaboration. Events like this run smoothly because of thoughtful partners and hardworking teams. And to the Etsy sellers who brought their creativity and energy—thank you. Your talent and enthusiasm made the pop-up a true celebration of handmade goods.
It was a memorable day filled with new friends, great finds, and lots of celebrating. I’m grateful for the opportunity to curate moments like this and for the local followers who came out to support in person.
P.S. While Jeff and I were at the store, we did a little registry browsing—see our registry tips over on the West Elm blog, Front + Main.
