Question From A Reader
I love getting emails from my readers and every week I pick out the best question and answer it here. So, today’s question is…
“I’ve always wanted to try arm knitting, but I’m not sure which yarn to start with as a beginner. Any suggestions?”
Starting with arm knitting is exciting! I recommend using a super bulky or jumbo yarn. Here’s a handy tip from my complete guide: Thicker yarns make the stitching more manageable and less intricate, perfect for beginners.
Have you ever tried arm knitting? Let me know in the comments.

Useful Knitting Tip
Clean Stripes When Knitting Ribbing
“When changing colors or making stripes in rib stitches, knit the entire first row in the new color and continue in the ribbed pattern. This technique ensures the color transition is seamless, prevents any unsightly gaps or uneven tension between color changes.”
— Excerpt from the Knitting Habits Success Manual.
