4. Blue Octoberfest
I must admit that this doily looks a lot like a magical snowflake, when it’s made with blue yarn. To achieve subtle color changes, like the ones you can see in Momackenzie’s version in the photos, use couple of hues of the same color, or choose multicolored yarn. Fun swirl in the center is a very interesting detail, and it’s worth noting, that you can stop after a few rounds to turn this doily into an ornament or a coaster.
