Hello there and Happy Tuesday to you! This pattern was inspired by a new design that is coming out quite soon and I wanted to create an accessory to match!
THE INGREDIENTS
Less than half a skein of Cream/Brown/Green/Yellow/Orange from Red Heart Super Saver/Medium 4/ 100% Acrylic
Felt 9 in.x 12 in.

THE PATTERN
*You will repeat this Step TWICE. Creating both the FRONT as well as the Back piece to construct the bag.
STEP ONE
Chain FOR 26 STS/ 18 INCHES LENGTH/ 10 INCHES WIDTH
Cream:
R1-R8: SC into all of the STS for the entire row, at the end of the row, turn work utilizing turning chain to continue.
R9: HDC into the first ST, Skip 2 and into the 3rd ST, [HDC three times into the SAME ST] then Skip 2 and continue the repetitive process until the end of the row and switch colors before turning work. [Note: At the end of the row, Skip 1 and HDC twice into the SAME ST and end on a single HDC.
Brown:
R10: HDC into the first ST, Skip 2 and into the 3rd ST, [HDC three times into the SAME ST] then Skip 2 and continue the repetitive process until the end of the row and switch colors before turning work. [Note: At the end of the row, Skip 1 and HDC twice into the SAME ST and end on a single HDC.
Orange:

Cream:
R39-R46: SC into all of the STS for the entire row, at the end of the row, turn work utilizing turning chain to continue. At final Row [46] SL ST to complete final work.
SC around the entire completed piece solely once.
Next, with your yarn sewing needle and a strand of yarn, insert ROW 1-ROW 8 into the opening of the handle slot and sew ROW 1 to ROW 8 to secure the purse in position.
Continuing with the other side, with your yarn sewing needle and a strand of yarn, insert ROW 39-ROW 46 into the opening of the handle slot and sew ROW 1 to ROW 8 to secure the purse in position.
Next, with needle and thread or fabric glue. Align the felt onto the inside of the purse, applying the adhesive or sewing the lining onto the purse
Next, utilizing your yarn sewing needle and a strand of yarn, sew the sides of the bag together, securing it for use!
