It’s been a while since we shared a gift-wrap DIY. This bubblegum-themed idea has been simmering since we made a DIY bubblegum costume last year. Rectangular gift boxes make the perfect canvas for a playful bubblegum wrap—sweet, simple, and perfect for birthday presents.

DIY Bubblegum Gift Wrap
Total Time: 15 Minutes
Supplies
Rectangle gift box
Silver wrapping paper (for the base)
Pink wrapping paper (for the band)
Pink cardstock (for bubbles, optional)
Bubblegum printable or a marker to hand-letter the logo
Tape
Scissors
Directions
1. Wrap the box completely in silver wrapping paper to create a shiny base.
2. Cut a strip of pink wrapping paper long enough to wrap around the box, and about 2″ narrower than the box height so the silver shows on both ends.
3. Wrap the pink strip around the middle of the box and secure it underneath with tape, keeping edges smooth and centered.
4. Use a bubblegum printable and trim it to fit the pink band, or hand-letter a playful “bubblegum” logo with a marker directly onto the pink paper.
5. Cut out several round bubble shapes from pink wrapping paper or pink cardstock and attach them to the package for a fun, popped-bubble effect.
