I’m excited to share two updates today. First, I finally put together a full gallery of our wedding photos. Many of you saw our Martha Stewart feature and asked to see more, so I collected the entire set for anyone who wants a closer look at the day. You can view the full gallery via the link in the post.

Second, I want to detail the personalized chargers we used as place cards and favors. These pieces were one of the most asked-about elements from the wedding. We worked with Lauren from A Fabulous Fete to create hand-lettered chargers for every guest. Aside from functioning as favors, they also make meaningful gifts for the bridal party or parents, lovely chargers for an intimate dinner, or decorative pieces for a home. The project is simple, personal, and makes a strong visual impression. Below is the easy tutorial and tips for creating your own.
DIY Personalized Chargers
Total Time: 10–15 minutes per charger
Supplies
Round cutting boards (or similar wooden rounds)
Non-toxic, permanent, fine-point paint marker
Food-grade sealer (optional)
Directions
1. Wipe each cutting board with a clean paper towel to remove dust and debris.
2. Practice writing the names on scrap paper until you find a style you like.
3. Decide where to place each name; writing near the outer edge helps keep the lettering from getting scuffed during use. Carefully write each name along the edge, matching placement across the set, and allow the ink to dry completely.
4. If you want extra protection, apply a food-safe sealer over the writing. We skipped sealing and the names showed slight wear over time, but with gentle hand washing they held up well.

Guests loved taking the chargers home. Their flat shape made them easy to pack in suitcases, and it’s been fun to see them used in friends’ and family members’ homes.
