Happy Monday! I’m still riding the high from Alt Summit (sleep was optional when you’re surrounded by inspiring people), but that didn’t stop me from pulling together a quick Super Bowl DIY just in time for the weekend. Today’s project: glitter foam fingers. Yes, glitter. Because a little sparkle never hurts—even at a football party. These mini foam fingers are easy, festive, and perfect for cheering, decorating desserts, or handing out as party favors.

Supplies
Mini foam fingers
Mod Podge (or similar decoupage glue)
Paint brush
Glitter in your choice of colors
Straws or wooden skewers
Start by mounting a mini foam finger on a straw or skewer—this makes the decorating process much cleaner (I tried holding them with my hands and it got messy). Brush a generous layer of Mod Podge over the foam surface, then sprinkle on glitter until fully covered. Allow the glitter layer to dry for about an hour.

Once the glitter has set, seal it with a second coat of Mod Podge. Because foam is absorbent, the sealant can take longer to cure—plan to let the finished fingers dry for up to 24 hours to ensure the glitter stays put and the surface isn’t tacky.

These mini glitter foam fingers are fun and versatile. Hand them out to kids or grown-ups to cheer with, use them as playful food or cupcake toppers, or tuck them into goodie bags as surprise favors. They’re an easy way to add personality and sparkle to your Super Bowl spread.
