My Favorite Pieces from the Target x Museum of Ice Cream Collection

I’ve practically been living at Target lately — I counted and went five times last week. Guilty as charged. I was so excited to see the new Target x Museum of Ice Cream collaboration and honestly, it exceeded my expectations. When big brands do food-themed collections, things can quickly feel too cheesy or gimmicky, but this drop feels fresh, modern, and thoughtfully designed.

The collection skewed largely toward children’s sizes, which bummed me out at first since most pieces aren’t aimed at adults or babies. Still, Jeff and I managed to squeeze into a few items, so we walked away with a couple of playful pieces for ourselves. That just proves the collection has a wide appeal — bright, whimsical, and wearable even if you don’t have little ones.

Below are some of my favorite pieces I spotted in the collection. I loved the colors, the fun prints, and the overall balance between novelty and practical design. These items feel like they were made with care instead of as a quick novelty line.

1. Scratch ‘n’ Sniff Tank, $10 | 2. Sleeveless Pink Jumpsuit, $22 | 3. Striped Tee, $10

4. Pleated Culotte Pants, $18 | 5. Lunch Bag, $15 | 6. Blue Ruffle Jumpsuit, $22

7. Graphic Sweatshirt, $17 | 8. Sparkle Swimsuit, $17 | 9. Banana Button-Down, $15

10. Banana Backpack, $17 | 11. Cherry Print Top, $15 | 12. Pink Sprinkle Coveralls, $18

For sizing reference, I fit into an XL pink jumpsuit and an XL cherry print top; I also managed a Large banana button-down. Jeff grabbed the XL banana shorts. Our store was already sold out of the pleated culotte pants, but I’m tempted to order them online — they looked so cute and versatile.

What I loved most about this collaboration was how it avoided feeling too kitschy while still leaning into playful motifs. The color palette is bright without being overstated, and many items are easy to mix and match with pieces you probably already have in your closet. From functional items like a lunch bag and backpack to standout wardrobe pieces like jumpsuits and coveralls, the collection offers a good mix of everyday wear and statement pieces that kids and adults can enjoy.

If you have kids, this collection is a great way to inject a little fun into everyday outfits. If you don’t, look out for a few adult-approachable pieces — like the button-down and some of the looser jumpsuit styles — that translate well into adult wardrobes. Either way, it’s one of the better brand collaborations I’ve seen in a while: clever, colorful, and well executed.

Which piece is your favorite? I’m debating whether to order the culottes and maybe another jumpsuit. Happy shopping!
