I recently bought an adorable Rudolph purse and it inspired a simple, cheerful ornament project. I love repurposing colorful ornaments from past seasons, and turning them into little Rudolphs felt like the perfect, easy craft. These ornaments come together quickly with just a few materials and a hot glue gun—great for a quick holiday craft session or to make as gifts. Here’s how to recreate them at home.

Supplies:
Round ornaments (any color you like)
Red pom-poms or small foam holiday baubles for noses
Craft foam for antlers
Hot glue gun
Scissors

Instructions:
1. Apply a small bead of hot glue to the red pom-pom or foam bauble and press it onto the center front of the ornament to form Rudolph’s nose. Hold briefly until the glue sets.
2. Cut antler shapes from craft foam. Apply a thin line of hot glue along the bottom edge of each antler and attach them to the top of the ornament. Hold until secure.

These little Rudolph ornaments make a fun group activity for a holiday get-together and work perfectly as gift toppers. Buy a set of inexpensive ornaments and create a whole flock—pack, team, or sleigh-full—however you want to call it. They’re easy to personalize by changing ornament colors, nose size, or antler shapes.
p.s. There are also printable cookies-and-milk placemats for Santa if you want a coordinating holiday activity.
