Heads up: a fruit takeover is happening here on the blog. My crafting focus has expanded from pineapples and donuts to practically every fruit you can imagine. Expect lemons, oranges, kiwi—and of course, lots of watermelon. I even teamed up with eHow to share one of my favorite fruity projects: watermelon sunglasses. I wore a pair of these sunglasses to the farmer’s market and nearly bought an entire watermelon while still wearing them. The vendor asked, “Is that to match your glasses?”—and yes, that’s exactly the point. I’m unabashedly that person.
