Total Time: 45 Minutes

Supplies

Tan dress
Pom pom sprinkles with removable Velcro dots
1 yard pink felt
Temporary hem tape and removable Velcro dots or needle and thread

Directions

1. Cut a rectangle of pink felt roughly 8–10 inches shorter than the dress length and 4–6 inches narrower than the dress width. Trim the edges into a wavy, uneven shape to mimic frosting.
2. Attach one side of the Velcro dots to each pom-pom sprinkle. Press the matching Velcro pieces onto the felt where you want the sprinkles placed.
3. Velcro the pom-pom sprinkles to the felt in the desired arrangement.
4. Apply strips of temporary hem tape along the back edge of the felt. Peel the backing and press the felt onto the front of the dress, smoothing firmly. For extra hold, hand-stitch the corners or use additional Velcro dots to secure the felt.

If you want to go all-out, carry a pink toaster as a prop or assemble a breakfast-themed group with a donut and a cereal bowl for coordinated costumes. Small props add personality and make the theme clear.
