Treat Yourself Mother’s Day Printables and Sweets

Cards that say

My mom visited last week and I surprised her with an early Mother’s Day “day off.” Moms rarely get a real break, so I decided to create a relaxing, indulgent day just for her. Between her travels to see family across the country and keeping up with grandchildren, she deserved something special. I partnered with Shari’s Berries to plan a “Treat Yourself” day filled with gourmet chocolate-dipped strawberries, decadent cake truffles, mani/pedis, and all the little comforts of a spa day at home. It was a simple, heartfelt way to say thanks—and a great example of how you can celebrate the moms in your life.

To start, I set the scene with a printable card that read “Treat Yourself… to a day off!” and gathered spa essentials: cucumber slices for the eyes, sheet masks, soothing lotions, and soft towels. Creating a calm, pretty space made the whole day feel like a proper retreat without leaving the house.

For treats, I ordered Shari’s Berries Full Dozen Mother’s Day Strawberries and their Mother’s Day Assorted Cake Truffles. We both love chocolate-covered strawberries, so they were an instant hit. The truffles—cookie dough, red velvet, and other flavors—were irresistible. We may have playfully argued over favorites, but since she was the guest of honor, Mom got first choice. The truffles even had little surprise messages tucked underneath for a sweet finishing touch.

We finished the day with mani/pedis—an ideal ending to a mother-daughter pampering session. It’s amazing how a few thoughtful details like fresh nails, soft hands, and a cozy conversation can make a normal afternoon feel celebratory.
