I’m thrilled to be partnering with one of my favorite photographers, Gray Malin, for a colorful giveaway. Gray and I both love bold color and playful, unexpected visuals, so this collaboration felt like a perfect fit. After browsing his work, I couldn’t resist the Pink Umbrellas print — it instantly inspired me. I chatted with Gray in a short Q&A about why this print resonates with me and how it sparks creative ideas. To celebrate, I created Gray Malin–inspired pink umbrella donuts and made printable umbrella templates so you can recreate the look at home. Cut out the umbrellas along the outer lines and score along each fold with a bone folder or back of a butter knife. Fold along the scored lines to create the umbrella pleats. Apply glue to the tab, assemble the umbrella, and attach it to a skewer, small dowel, or the base of a drink umbrella with hot glue. Stick the finished umbrellas into sugar-coated donuts and enjoy.
