I’ve been doing a lot of wallpaper research lately. We’ve added wallpaper to a wall in our bathroom, refreshed the craft closet, and transformed our son’s closet into a cozy fort. Each project has shown me how a bold pattern can change a small space and add instant personality.
I used to hesitate about wallpaper because I change my mind quickly and it feels like a big commitment. But I’m warming up to it—the right print adds texture and depth that paint alone can’t achieve. After hunting down tons of options, I found a bunch of playful, colorful patterns that work especially well in kids’ rooms, powder rooms, closets, and other small spaces. Here are my favorites.
