Formerly part of Stash Busting Quickies!
You may have spotted this pattern before – I originally designed it for one of the Stash Busting Quickies collections I did with Marly Bird! It’s been a few years now, and I’ve decided that it’s time to share this pattern here on the blog as well!

Perfect for Winter Holiday Gifts
Scarves make great gifts, as well as charity donations. And the Speed Stripe Scarf is designed to be easy to crochet, and easy to wear! Worked end to end, the rows fly by in a flash. A simple keyhole gives you even more wearable options – and the fringe means you don’t even have to weave in any ends!

With written instructions as well as a chart, I hope you have fun making this easy crochet scarf pattern your own!

Create 6 fringes at each short end of scarf as follows:
Cut one 12 in (30.5 cm) strand of yarn in each color for each fringe.
Fold the fringe at center. Use hook to pull folded center of fringe through edge st, then pull ends of fringe through the resulting loop, and pull until tight.
Trim evenly after all fringes are attached.
