So how big are they? As shown, the animals in Farm Friends Crochet measure 13 to 17 inches tall, with primarily 5-Bulky weight yarn. A US-J, 6mm hook keeps this fabric tight, so you can add safety eyes and stuffing. But of course, you can go even bigger by going bigger with the yarn! (Or smaller, with a DK or sport weight!)
There are some great notes and tips up front, and a short but thorough section on stitches in the back – with lots of helpful pics! The patterns are written in US terms, and in standard pattern format rather than the abbreviated “amigurumi style.” If you’ve got a little farmer in your life, this book is sure to help you put lots of smiles on their face!
