I couldn’t resist making emoji Easter eggs. Even though it’s early March and St. Patrick’s Day is still coming, these were too fun to wait on. Invite some friends and plan an emoji egg decorating party — it’s a must. These bright, playful eggs are simple to make and a great way to add personality to your Easter celebration.

Supplies:
– Eggs (use blown-out real eggs or paper mache eggs; you can hard-boil them but they may not be enjoyable to eat afterward)
– Yellow, white, pink, and turquoise craft paint
– Black and red paint markers (you can also use a set of paint markers in multiple colors)
Tip: These eggs can be made using only paint and a brush or only paint markers (except for the yellow base), so adapt the supplies to what you have on hand.
Instructions:
1. Paint all of the eggs yellow and allow them to dry completely.
2. Draw or paint faces on each egg. You can follow the examples shown in the photos or create your own expressions. I noted the order I painted each face when I made mine, but work in whatever sequence is most comfortable for you.
