Crochet Patriotic Summer Tote Bag
Hurray for the Red, White & Blue with this Crochet Patriotic Summer Tote Bag! Here is the summer bag that will quickly become your favorite for toting to picnics, parade, baseball games, etc. Crocheted with Bernat Maker Home Dec yarn makes it super strong and gives the tote bag really nice stitch definition. The colors have a vintage look, but if you prefer the more traditional red, white and blue then choose the Bernat Maker Fashion yarn.
The base of the base is worked in the round, then the vertical red and white stripes are worked in rows attaching directly to the base as you go. This is a fairly large bag. The finished size is 15″ wide by 17″ high. The strap is 36″ and long enough to wear cross body. But feel free to shorten or lengthen it to your own comfort and personal preference.
