Crochet Fancy Basket
In just a matter for a few hours, you can crochet your own Fancy Basket using Caron Big Cakes Yarn. It only takes 1 ball.
The basket is double stranded to create a marled look for yarn. The video below shows you how I use the outside of the cake and inside at the same time to double strand my project.
This project is inspired by the Marled Basket using Caron Big Cakes. Instead of creating a rotational stepping look, I was inspired by the bead stitch and clusters to create the look. The basket is 11″ x 5.5″ tall.
I blocked my basket and sprayed it was starch for finishing touches. It’s now great for a coffee table accessory or storage container that is handmade by you.
