The Rainbow Lanyard is an older pattern on Moogly, dating all the way back to 2012! And it’s just as popular today for those who need to keep their keys and cards close. While this is a beginner-level pattern, I’ve had several requests for a tutorial. So here I will share how to crochet the Rainbow Lanyard!

This simple pattern is great for leftover bits of yarn and doing some stash-busting! Try to pick a yarn that feels good against the skin and doesn’t have a lot of stretch. While I used a simple keyring, you should feel free to add a breakaway clasp for safety if desired!
