DIY Fruit Drink Markers: Quick Craft Ideas for Parties

I made one more fruit-themed project for the season inspired by Barefoot Bubbly’s fruit-flavored sparkling wines. These playful drink markers double as stirrers and are simple to create with basic craft supplies. I had fun experimenting with flavors I don’t reach for often—plum and peach—as well as favorites like pineapple. They’re perfect for marking guests’ glasses or adding a colorful detail to any celebration.

The full lineup I made includes Berry, Orange, Pineapple, and Peach. The Pineapple and Berry flavors stood out—Berry is a bright blend of cranberry, plum, and pomegranate and was an unexpected favorite.

Total Time: 30–45 minutes (plus dry time)

Supplies

Model Magic clay
Bamboo skewers
Craft paint

Directions

1. Shape the clay: roll spheres for peaches and plums, ovals for pineapple, and flat disks for orange slices.
2. Gently press each shape onto the pointed end of a bamboo skewer so it sits securely.
3. Add details: for stems, roll a tiny tube of clay and attach it to the top of the sphere. For leaves, flatten a small amount of clay into a teardrop, pinch the point to create dimension, and attach. For pineapple leaves, use four slightly larger ovals and four smaller ones; press their bases together and adhere to the top of the oval.
4. Allow the clay to dry completely according to package instructions.
5. Paint the shapes in the colors you like and let the paint dry thoroughly before using.
