Years ago I made glitter foam fingers that still make me smile. Now I’ve turned that idea into emoji foam fingers — a playful, simple project that’s perfect for game days, parties, or any time you want to add a little personality to cheering. These oversized emoji hands are easy to make and are guaranteed to be a conversation starter at your next gathering.

Supplies:
- 11×17 craft foam sheets (two sheets per hand)
- Printable hand stencils on 11×17 paper
- Black Sharpie
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun

Instructions:
- Have your hand stencils printed on 11×17 paper. Cut out the stencil along the outer edge. Place the stencil on one foam sheet and trace the outline with a pencil. Then press the pencil along the finger lines in the stencil so the indent transfers into the foam — this makes it easy to follow the finger separations when you draw with marker later. On a second foam sheet, simply trace the outer edge of the pencil outline; this will form the back of the hand.
- Carefully cut out both hand shapes from the foam. On the foam piece where you pressed the finger lines, go over those indented lines with a black Sharpie to define the finger separations and any other details you want.
- Use a hot glue gun to assemble the two foam layers. Run a small bead of hot glue along the edge of one hand and immediately press the matching edge of the second hand on top. Work in short sections so the glue doesn’t cool before you join the pieces. Continue gluing around the perimeter, leaving the bottom opening free so you can slide your hand inside. Allow the glue to set completely before using.
