This DIY project came together completely by chance. While browsing World Market, I spotted these colorful mini take-out boxes and immediately thought, “Advent calendar!” After spending a little time choosing the colors (decisions were the hardest part), I put together a simple, cheerful advent calendar. Fill each box with candy, small gifts, or little notes suggesting family activities. If you prefer, use confetti for a playful surprise. Arrange the boxes any way you like and be ready for December 1st!

Supplies:
25 mini take-out boxes (I found mine at World Market in a variety of colors and patterns)
Number stickers (available at office supply stores)
Small treats or surprises for filling the boxes
Instructions: Place a number sticker on each box, then fill each one with your chosen treat or surprise. That’s it—simple and quick! These boxes are easy to customize, so tailor the contents to your family’s tastes and traditions.

Display options: Stack the boxes into a tower, arrange them on a shelf, or spread them across a table. Let kids help arrange and decorate—shaking and peeking into the boxes adds to the excitement.
