Colorwork has a long history in knitting. Floral motifs, landscapes, ornaments, animals – you can “paint” everything you want with yarn, and all you need is a technique and a plan. Little cardigans are perfect for such experiments. They are small, work quite fast and adding a cute motif like a bee or a whale can make it look even more adorable. Changing yarn as you go will require some skills, but it’s definitely worth a try!
