A Bit About the Designer
Kelly Baum-Sehon’s cable designs caught my eye immediately – and his wonderful use of color. He has designed two patterns for the MooglyCAL t00 – the Golden Braid Square and the Perfect Squares Square! Here’s a bit about Kelly in his own words:
Kelly is a former middle-school math teacher, now turned full-time crochet designer, who has been crocheting for over half his life. Starting with a few scarf patterns, he has now found a love for designing crochet wearables, especially sweaters.
He is the first man from Oklahoma (second in the USA) to have earned the Master Certificate of Advanced Stitches and Techniques from the Crochet Guild of America. He lives in Oklahoma with his husband, Charlie, and their two lovable but ornery cats – Sullivan and Drake. Aside from crochet, Kelly enjoys playing video games, watching YouTube videos, reading about history and mythology, and drinking as much cold brew coffee and red wine as he can.
