Knit This Fun, Cabled Pullover Today – Xami – Expression Fiber Arts | A Positive Twist on Yarn

Hello, my lil’ dewdrop! This week, I have a sophisticated, knitted pullover pattern that I’m totally tickled to share with you! Keep reading to learn all about it!

Knit This Fun, Cabled Pullover Today – Xami – Expression Fiber Arts | A Positive Twist on Yarn

Xami was designed by J. Miyo. When asked about her pattern, J. said, “Xami is a relaxed-fit sweater with a cable motif inspired by butterflies taking flight. This sweater is meant to be a light layering piece, perfect for transitional seasons. The cable motif is spread out to create a subtle texture on the ribbed background and to maintain the airy quality of the fabric. This would be a good project for those who would like to practice their cabling technique without having to knit a thick winter sweater. The body pieces are worked separately from the bottom up, after which they are seamed so that stitches can be picked up for the sleeves and collar to finish it.”

This Intermediate level pattern is for knitters who feel comfortable with knitting and have made a few projects, using various skills and techniques. Skills/concepts include sweater construction, cables, slipped stitches, and blocking.Xami is knitted with our scrumptious Harmony Yak Fingering yarn, which is a deliciously soft and silky, luxurious, single-ply yarn that’s ideal for next-to-skin projects. Supremely soft, durable, breathable, and draping, this extraordinary blend is ideal for treasured items. Harmony Yak Fingering is made from 65% Superwash Merino Wool, 20% Silk, and 15% Natural Yak with 437 yds/400 m per skein. It’s slinky and puddly and divine!

The sample is shown in size Small and is modeled on a 34″ (86 cm bust) with 4″ (1o cm) of positive ease.
