It’s time for a spring color challenge! This round Mandi from Vintage Revivals picked purple, and I’m excited to join in. I don’t usually use purple on the blog, not because I dislike it but because I rarely reach for it. This soft lilac is perfectly springy — and especially lovely for Easter. To kick off an Easter series I’ll be sharing over the next month, here’s an easy and festive project: confetti-dipped Easter eggs.

Supplies:
- Eggs (hard‑boiled or hollowed)
- Craft paint in your chosen shades
- Paint brushes
- Drying rack (optional but helpful)
- Decoupage glue or Mod Podge
- Foil confetti — available at party stores or online
Step-by-step:
- Paint your eggs in the base color(s) you like. Lilac paired with metallic gold looks especially pretty, but choose any palette you prefer. Allow the paint to dry fully.
- Brush a thin layer of decoupage glue or Mod Podge on the area of the egg you want to cover with confetti.
- Immediately sprinkle foil confetti over the glued area until covered. You can cover just the bottom, create a dipped effect, or coat a larger section — whatever matches your style.
- Set the eggs on a drying rack or another safe spot to let the glue dry completely. Once dry, gently tap off any loose pieces.

That’s it — simple, quick, and festive. These confetti-dipped eggs are a fun way to add sparkle to an Easter table, a centerpiece, or a gift box. Mixing the soft lilac paint with metallic confetti gives a fresh, modern look that still feels seasonal.

I’m loving the lilac and gold combo — it feels fresh and elegant. I’ve got another confetti-themed Easter idea brewing, so stay tuned for more ways to add color and sparkle to your celebrations.
