I really don’t need a long tutorial for this project—the technique is the same one used to top the ornament piñatas and honeycomb bulbs. It’s simple, quick, and incredibly versatile. If you want a little extra sparkle at your holiday table, tinsel napkin rings are an easy, festive choice. They’re inexpensive to make and add instant charm to any place setting.

Supplies:
- Cardboard tube
- Tinsel garland
- Styrofoam filler balls (optional)
- Hot glue gun
Instructions:
- Cut a 1.5″ wide strip from the cardboard tube. If your tinsel is thinner, you can cut a narrower strip.
- Run a line of hot glue all the way around the cardboard ring.
- Press tinsel onto the glue, covering the entire outer surface of the ring.
- If desired, attach a small styrofoam filler ball with a dot of hot glue to create a decorative accent.

That’s it—done! For a cleaner, more minimalist look, skip the gold ball and let the tinsel shine on its own. Either way, these napkin rings make a delightful finishing touch for holiday tablescapes and seasonal gatherings.
