Those small white pumpkins you spot at the store? They look like little clouds. With a bit of craft foam you can turn them into cheerful DIY rainbow pumpkins — possibly the easiest pumpkin project yet. Ready to make some?

DIY Rainbow Pumpkins
Total Time: 45 Minutes
Supplies
Small white pumpkins (orange pumpkins work too — just paint them white first if you prefer)
Craft foam in rainbow colors
Scissors
Hot glue gun or school glue
Directions
1. Start by cutting a large rainbow arc from one color of craft foam. Size the arc to fit the top of your pumpkin.
2. Cut progressively smaller arcs in the remaining colors so each layer nests neatly inside the previous one.
3. Stack the foam arcs and glue them together in rainbow order (for example, pink, orange, yellow, and so on) to form a complete rainbow strip.
4. Attach the finished rainbow to the top of the pumpkin with hot glue or strong craft glue. If the pumpkin surface is uneven, trim the bottom edge of the foam slightly so it sits flat.

Imagine this design on a giant white Cinderella pumpkin for your front yard — it would be a joyful alternative to oversized inflatables. If you enjoy playful seasonal decor, these rainbow pumpkins are fast, colorful, and kid-friendly.
p.s. DIY Pun-kins are a fun companion idea for more pumpkin-themed crafts.
