Hello, beautiful one! I have a stunning, lacy crochet shawl pattern to tell you about today. This gorgeous design will add a touch of elegance to any outfit! Keep reading for all the delightful details!
Roses was designed by Anne McFarland. When asked about this pattern, Anne said, “This shawl is a combination of lightweight elegance and delicate craftsmanship. Designed in an openwork pattern with rows of flowers alternating with rows of a simple grid and finished with a dainty picot edging, the shawl adds a touch of sophistication to any outfit. Made from fingering weight yarn, it provides a gentle drape, offering both comfort and style. This shawl is an ideal accessory for breezy evenings or special occasions, blending beauty with practicality.”
This Adventurous Beginner level pattern is perfect for crocheters who are ready to learn some new skills or stitch combinations. Stitches include chain, slip stitch, single crochet, and double crochet. In addition, the cluster stitch is used to form the flower petals, and picots are used in the edging.
Roses is shown here crocheted with our Limited Edition Signature Fingering yarn, which is a soft and breathable blend of 30% Linen, 30% Mulberry Silk, and 40% Baby Alpaca. The linen fiber in each colorway is dyed in our signature aqua blue color, which ties all of the shades together, while the other fibers are dyed in complementary colors. This collection is meant to symbolize our journey as a company. Things may shift and change, but like the linen running throughout the skeins, we strive to stay true to our values of positivity, joy, and the pursuit of constant improvement. Signature Fingering is a lovely, 3-ply yarn with a delightful drape and subtle, heathered colors and 448 yds/410 m per skein.
The sample shown here was crocheted with three skeins of Dream Chaser Signature Fingering yarn and used approximately 1,020 yds/933 m total.
Be sure to order all the yarn you need for your project because once this Limited Edition yarn and colors are gone, they’re gone for good!
