We came up with the idea for a wall calendar during a little office brainstorming session, and now I’m thrilled to share it. Our designer Katy created a free printable 2017 wall calendar with a fresh pattern for each month. We also included some of our favorite holidays and anniversaries to make the calendar fun and useful.
This printable is perfect for an office or cubicle and makes a simple DIY that still looks polished. Each month features its own pattern, so the finished set feels cohesive and stylish. You’ll even find some playful trivia sprinkled in—like the date Bubble Tape debuted—because tiny details are the best.
If your printer flips on the short side when printing double-sided, use the short-side file to print the 2017 calendar.
If your printer flips on the long side for double-sided printing, use the long-side file instead.
There are several ways to assemble this calendar depending on how finished you want it to look and your available tools. I wanted a store-bought feel, so I had the pages printed and bound at a local office supply shop—total cost was around $12–$15.
For printing, the file is set for 8.5 x 11″ paper with a small white border that you can trim off before binding. Because printers handle duplex printing differently, I provided two versions: one for short-side flip and one for long-side flip. I recommend testing one or two pages to confirm how your printer handles double-sided printing before printing the whole set.
If you’d rather do it at home, print the pages, align them, and punch four holes across the top. Secure the stack with ribbon, small binder rings, or a binder clip. I hung mine with a binder clip and a removable hook, but you could also punch holes at the bottom and hang it on a nail or hook. There are lots of options to match your budget and style.
