How to Set Up Your Super Bowl Bingo

Here’s a simple setup so guests can start playing right away.

  • Give each guest one bingo card from the set of 10.
  • Provide small items to mark squares, such as coins, candy, game pieces, stickers, or markers.
  • Decide if you’ll have prizes for winners and choose your reward structure ahead of time.

Prize ideas include candies or snacks, a six‑pack of beer, a humorous trophy, or team apparel like a hat or T‑shirt.

How to Play Super Bowl Bingo

Decide the win condition before the game starts. The standard rule is to get five items in a row—horizontally, vertically, or diagonally—which is indicated on the cards. You can also vary the objective for more variety, such as the four corners or an “X” pattern.

Players watch the game, commercials, and halftime show to spot the items listed on their cards. They mark each item they see using the provided markers. Encourage creativity: players might mark a beer spotted in the stands instead of in a commercial, or a number they see during an ad rather than on a player’s jersey.

When a player completes the required pattern, they shout “BINGO!” The host checks the card and awards the prize or simply crowns the winner so they can enjoy the glory.
