I’m officially in the Valentine spirit! This project is delightfully simple — just two steps: cut and stick. It’s a quick, cheerful way to brighten a child’s room or a classroom floor with a trail of hearts leading to special treats. If you love quick, effective projects, this one’s for you.

Supplies:
Vinyl in pink and red shades (blush, pink, hot pink, red)
Cricut Explore™ and a cutting mat (if you don’t own a Cricut, see the alternative method below)

Steps:
1. Open the project in Cricut Design Space and follow the prompts to cut the heart shapes.
2. Remove the hearts from their backing and arrange them on the floor as you like. I recommend testing one heart in an inconspicuous spot first to confirm it removes cleanly from your flooring.
Alternative for non-Cricut owners: If you don’t have a Cricut, you can still make these hearts using the Print and Cut workaround. It requires a bit more manual cutting but works well.
Print-and-cut instructions (no Cricut required):
1. Click the “Make It Now” button for the project you want.
2. Choose “Customize.”
3. Select all images and click “Flatten” in the menu on the right.
4. Click “Go,” then “Print and continue.” When your printer dialog appears, print the template. After printing, you can trace the hearts onto adhesive vinyl and cut them by hand to create your floor decals.
