I love when graduates decorate their caps. It adds personality, makes each cap stand out in a sea of black, and gives family and friends a reason to laugh. These playful phrases capture the range of feelings graduates have—from proud and excited to sassy and hopeful—and they’re a fast way to make your cap memorable.

- Cricut Explore and cutting mat
- Cricut printable vinyl
- Your chosen graduation cap phrases

Instructions
- Open the project in Cricut Design Space. Click “Make It Now” and print the phrase(s) you want onto printable vinyl using your home printer. If this is your first time using Print Then Cut, follow the on-screen calibration steps—it’s straightforward and guided.
- Place the printed sheet on the Cricut cutting mat and follow the software prompts to cut out the design.
- Carefully remove the cut letters from the vinyl sheet and arrange them on your graduation cap until you’re happy with the placement. Press them down firmly so they adhere well.
If you don’t have a Cricut: you can still make these. Print the designs at home, then hand-cut the phrases and apply them to your cap. Hand cutting is more time-consuming, but it’s an easy workaround that many readers have used successfully.
