I’m thrilled to announce the launch of a kids and baby bedding collection created in collaboration with one of my favorite brands, Kip & Co. The collection is now available on their site. I wanted to share the story behind the collaboration and why this project means so much to me.
In recent years, becoming a parent changed the way I approach creativity. I no longer generate DIY ideas every day the way I once did, and that transition led me to rethink the purpose of this platform. One thing that has remained constant is my belief in the power of color and joyful design. The environments we create—our homes, our wardrobes—shape how we feel, and that impact is especially important for children. Kids absorb the world around them: the colors, textures, and light all influence how they experience their surroundings.
Spending time with my son Arlo has given me a new perspective on design through his eyes. Seeing how a bright, playful space affects his mood and curiosity reminded me of why I love creating cheerful, colorful pieces. He has brought so much light into our lives, and designing a collection aimed to bring that same sense of joy to other families felt like a natural next step.
The collaboration began after a chance meeting with the Kip & Co team before they returned to Australia. That conversation turned into a partnership where I had the opportunity to design bedding and accessories that reflect my aesthetic—sunny, rainbow-inspired, and full of personality. The limited edition line includes quilts, sheets, pillows, and swaddles, all created with children and families in mind.
My goal with this collection was simple: to offer pieces that add a bright, playful touch to everyday life. The prints draw from fruity hues, simple shapes, and happy motifs, designed to pair well with a range of nursery and kid bedroom styles. I wanted the items to feel both special and practical—easy to love, easy to live with, and meant to become part of daily routines.
As a designer and a parent, I focused on creating products that feel meaningful and cheerful without feeling overdone. The collection celebrates color and pattern in a way that feels familiar and warm. Whether you’re updating a nursery, refreshing a toddler’s room, or looking for a thoughtful baby shower gift, these pieces were designed to bring a little sunshine into the home.
Below are images from the collection that illustrate the playful palette and textures we explored during the design process.
