Christmas puns for everyone! These DIY graphic stockings come together in a single easy step, and they look fantastic.
Each year my mom sends my grandma a stocking full of treats, and while my grandma may not always appreciate the puns, these stockings are perfect for sending a personalized surprise to friends who live far away. Fill them with stickers, temporary tattoos, nail polish, lottery tickets, and other small treasures — a fun and heartfelt gift.

DIY Graphic Stockings
Total Time: 30 Minutes
Supplies
Stockings (fur stockings create a fluffy look, but regular felt or fabric stockings work well and are often easier to personalize)
Iron-on embroidered letters (or adhesive letter patches)
Iron (for felt/fabric stockings) or hot glue gun (for fur stockings)
Directions
1. Choose the letters for your phrase and arrange them on the stocking to finalize placement.
2. For furry stockings, use a hot glue gun: apply hot glue to the back of each letter, push aside the fur to create a flat surface, press the letter in place, and add a second pass of glue where needed to secure any loose edges. For felt or fabric stockings, follow the iron-on letters’ package instructions to adhere them with an iron.

Stockings are one of my favorite parts of Christmas. Do you feel the same?
P.S. Try adding a DIY graphic tee to your stocking for an extra-special gift idea.
