Funny Pie Stencil Puns for DIY Baking and Decor

Pie that says "you want a piece of me"

We already know you love puns, so this Thanksgiving we’re keeping the wordplay alive with playful pie stencils made with a Cricut. These stencils let you keep a classic pumpkin pie appearance while adding a fun message on top. They’re perfect for Friendsgiving or any holiday gathering—and incredibly easy to make.

1. Open the stencil project in Cricut Design Space and click “Make It Now.” Place your cardstock on the Cricut cutting mat and follow the on-screen prompts to cut the stencil.
2. If you’re using pumpkin pie, gently blot the surface with a paper towel to absorb any excess moisture. This helps the powdered sugar adhere cleanly and keeps the design crisp.
3. Center the stencil over the pie. Using a sifter, dust a generous layer of powdered sugar across the stencil. When finished, lift the stencil straight up—do not slide or peel it away—to avoid disturbing the sugar pattern. That’s it!
