Supplies:
Jumbo marshmallows
Food coloring (regular grocery-store liquid food coloring works well)
Water
Plastic cups or small containers for dyeing

Instructions:
1. Slice each marshmallow in half to make two thinner disks. You can leave them whole if you prefer, but cutting gives a different look and can make them easier to skew. Be careful, as cutting may be a little messy.
2. Mix your dyes. For a bright color, combine approximately 20 drops of liquid food coloring with 2–3 teaspoons of water in each cup. Use basic colors to build a rainbow array.
3. Skewer a marshmallow and dip it into a dye cup. To fully cover the marshmallow, tip the cup slightly and roll the marshmallow inside. While still holding it in the cup, spin it to remove excess dye. Allow the marshmallow to dry.
