Mother’s Day Gratitude Gift Box — Collaboration with No Kid Hungry

A box with flowers and ribbon

Last week I announced on Instagram, and I’m so excited to share here as well: I collaborated with Gratitude Collaborative this Mother’s Day to create a curated gift box that gives back. For every box sold, Gratitude Collaborative donates — and I designed a special Studio DIY Mother’s Day box with 100% of the proceeds going to No Kid Hungry. With one in six kids in America facing food insecurity, supporting this cause felt like the right way to celebrate moms while helping families in need. The items in the box are wonderful, but every dollar of profit supports meals for kids, which is the real purpose behind this project.

We hosted a beautiful brunch to introduce the box and the cause, and to honor the incredible moms who joined us. It was so meaningful to gather with inspiring women, share the story behind the box, and celebrate the daily work of motherhood. Below are a few photos from the event and more details about what’s inside the box. The Mother’s Day box is available now and makes a thoughtful gift for any mama.

I can claim credit for curating the box contents, but the brunch decor was handled by an amazing team. Bonjour Fete and But First Party created the event design, and the brunch took place at Pollen — the food was so good I immediately texted Jeff we needed to go back. Of The Flowers installed an incredible floral chandelier that made the space feel extra special.

Here are snapshots of the items included in the Studio DIY Mother’s Day box. The box is valued at more than $150 and brings together a thoughtful selection of favorites: a luxe hand cream, a pair of stylish sunglasses, a pretty nail polish, a beautiful card that doubles as a mini art print from Printerette (the same studio that did Arlo’s birthday invites), and a pin inspired by a pillow from his changing table. I also included a wonderful candle — a little self-care spark that many of us appreciate — and some fun candy. In addition, each box includes a cactus art print from Shop Studio DIY.

More than anything, this collaboration was about making an impact. I felt honored to work with generous makers and small businesses who donated products and time so every dollar of profit from this box could go to No Kid Hungry. Whether you pick one up for your mom, a friend who’s a mom, or share the idea with your family as a hint, it’s a gift that gives back. I’m truly proud of the box and grateful to everyone who helped make it happen.
